Passivation

Our in-house service ensures all pipework arrives onsite clean, ready for use and fit for purpose. We immerse stainless steel in a solution of Citric Acid to restore the original corrosion resistant surface by forming a thin transparent oxide film. It also dissolves any embedded or smeared iron left on the surface during processing.
